This is a poem I wrote on June 22, 2009. In this poem, the speaker is trying to convince someone to not be afraid of changes that are coming.
I know that things are changing fast
And how you wish these days would last
But no matter how hard you try to rearrange
The only constant in your life is change
Yes, I know you're scared of this place
But try to put on a brave face
And someday, you can look back upon these days
Knowing you didn't need to be afraid
