This is a poem I wrote on March 1, 2010. It's a poem being directed to young people who are headed toward adolescence.
The time has come where you hit the age
When everything is going to change
You may not like how everything is new
But it's something that you have to go through
Sometimes life is going to be rough
And it seems like you've been through enough
But if you find you want to say "never"
Just know that this stage will not last forever
