This is a poem I wrote on November 22, 2008, and it's from the point of view of a speaker who wonders what their purpose in life is.
As I sit here, I wonder
What my purpose in life is
And what I'm going to encounter
As I travel down the road of life
But through the course of my wondering
I realize I have no answer
And that no one on Earth has the answer
To this question that I ponder
In the end, my thoughts lead me to believe
That the answer shall always remain a mystery
