This is a poem I wrote in the 1990s, and it's about how life is a mystery.
As we go along day by day
Traveling along life's highway
We have no idea which way the wind will blow
Or which way we will end up having to go
Life can be such a mystery
Yet, there is just no way to see
All we can do is travel life's ebb and flow
And hope that we learn all that we need to know
Someday I know I'll leave this place
When I'm at the end of the race
And when that time comes, I hope I am worthy
To learn all the secrets of life's mysteries
