Never See You Again

This is a poem I wrote on February 9, 2009. It's about losing someone and not being able to see them again.


I couldn't believe it when I heard the news
It didn't seem right that you were gone
I just saw you a few days earlier
And when I saw you, I never imagined
That I would never see you again
And the one thing that I regret the most
Is that I never had the chance
To say goodbye
