This is a poem I wrote on August 3, 2009. It's a poem about heading toward the future and to the unknown.
Excitement electrifies the atmosphere
And a sense of change permeates the air
It's a time for hopes and new beginnings
And it's a time for living and learning
All the unknowns fuel a sense of adventure
And where our lives will lead, we're just not sure
So all we can do is take to the road
And head on our way into the unknown
