This is a poem I wrote on May 18, 2009. It's a poem about how time gets away from us and wondering where it goes.
It's hard to believe
Another year has gone by so quickly
The older I get, the more I wonder
Where the time has gone
Sometimes, it makes me wish
I could slow down the hands of time
So I can savor the here and now
For just a little bit longer
