This is a poem I wrote on November 16, 2009. It's about how love is needed at times when the world seems to be at its worst.
You read the news and see the headlines
It seems more and more people have died
Many are gone by someone else's hand
And it's just so hard to understand
Now is a time that we need love
We pass by the homeless on the street
Who don't have enough money to eat
They struggle to make their way through their lives
They need help, because it's just not right
Now more than ever, we need love
