This is a poem I wrote in the 1990s, and it's from the point of view of a speaker trying to work their way through a difficult decision.
So many questions race through my head
After contemplating what you've said
I've been searching so hard in my mind
But the answers I have yet to find
All that I can find is confusion
There seems to be no resolution
And there's no answer to the issue
The battle inside seems to ensue
Please, someone give me a helping hand
Or please at least try to understand
Someone help me choose which way to go
The right thing to do, I just don't know...
