Tired

This is a poem I wrote on January 12, 2009. It's about someone who doesn't want to get up in the morning.


The alarm goes off
But I feel so tired
Don't want to get out of bed
Yet I have to get going
Because I have people depending on me
But I'm so tired
That I roll over and fall back asleep
The next thing I know
I'm being woken up
And told that I overslept
In a panic, I suddenly wake up
And get going for my day
