This is a poem I wrote on December 21, 2009. It's from the point of view of a painter who wants to express what they see in their mind.
I've seen a vision in my head
Filled with yellow, green, and red
I want to capture what I've seen
So I set to work on a painting
And when this inspiration hits
I must try to capture it
Convey my visions in pictures
And paint them before they disappear
