This is a poem I wrote back in the early 1990s. It's about falling in love with someone, but not being able to tell then how you feel.
Once again, I've fallen head over heels
But you have no idea how I feel
It's sad, but it's true
And I wonder why I can't have you
Even if I had the courage to say the words
You would probably think they sound absurd
So all I can do
Is to wonder why I can't have you
