This is a poem I wrote on October 4, 2010, and it's about a person who feels like they're living through their worst nightmare.
Have you ever been caught unaware
And felt like you're living in your worst nightmare?
Do you keep hoping you're just in a dream
And that nothing is really what it seems?
You're hoping this will pass soon enough
But for now, you just need to keep hanging tough
Know that someday, the end will be in sight
And hope that everything will be all right
