This is a poem I wrote on March 7, 2011, and it's from the point of view of a speaker who wonders what it would be like if they could be someone else and start their life over again.
As I sit here, lost in my daydreams
I wonder why my life isn't what it seems
Sometimes, I wish I could be somebody new
And start my life over anew
If I had the chance, what would I change?
Would I put myself into a life that's strange?
The possibilities are just so endless
But should I be thinking like this?
