This is a poem I wrote on April 21, 2011, and it's from the point of view of a speaker who laments how much time they're losing in their life due to stress.
I want to know why time flies
And why it just passes by
Some days, I wish it would just hit the brakes
I think I've taken more than I can take
My life feels like a mess
It's thanks to all of this stress
I have to spend time playing catch up
For all of this time I have to make up
