Just an Ordinary Day

This is a poem I wrote on July 12, 2010, and the speaker talks about how today is just an ordinary day.


Today is just an ordinary day
Nothing at all seems to be astray
No surprises are hiding around the bend
And no relationships that need to be on the mend


And today, there is no sense of mystique
Nothing at all seems to be unique
There is no drama, and everything is serene
And today, everything just seems to be peachy keen
