This is a poem I wrote on June 28, 2010. It's a poem about the summer months. For some reason, the seasons seem to be a favorite topic of mine to write about.
Summer is here once again
It's time to spend with family and friends
Barbecues, picnics, and fun galore
And time spent at the seashore
Time to spend out on the street
Playing outside in the sweltering heat
Enjoy the time, because it won't last
The time will fly by too fast
