This is a poem I wrote on January 3, 2011, and it's a poem where the speaker is reminding someone that life may have heartache and stress, but that life isn't always going to be bad.
As we journey through our life
We encounter heartache and strife
But if you want a piece of advice
Sometimes life is worth the sacrifice
Your life can't always be bad
And good times are bound to be had
Sometimes life can make you feel mad
But remember that life can make you glad
