This is a poem I wrote on March 23, 2009, and the speaker of this poem is telling someone else not to give up.
Life got you down?
Think you're just spinning 'round and 'round?
Slow down, take a deep breath
And know that the worst may not be over yet
But, don't despair and don't cry
Situations can improve if you try
There's no reason for you to lay down and die
