This is a poem I wrote on March 24, 2011. It's a poem about the arrival of spring.
Believe it or not, springtime is here
Which means that new beginnings are near
More sunlight is here to brighten the days
With warmth coming from its rays
Flowers and trees are coming in bloom
Their colors chasing away the gloom
Winter will be a distant memory
Now it's time to be happy
