This is a poem I wrote on November 16, 2009, and it's about how some things that look good on the surface may actually be too good to be true.
Watch out, because all that glitters isn't gold
Don't buy into everything that you're sold
I know it sounds like that's hard to do
But believe me, these things are too good to be true
There are those who will try to swindle and cheat
They'll try to make you feel incomplete
You need to stay true to you
Because all of these things are too good to be true
