This is a poem I wrote on December 1, 2008. It's a poem that's all about Christmas shopping.
I head out to the mall
Credit card in hand
Trying to find the best deals
That are available in this land
I make it to the mall
Make it through the door
End up getting jostled by crowds
And I almost end up on the floor
Make it into a shop
And find something neat
I look to see how much it costs
And it nearly knocks me off my seat
Then, three hours later
I'm finally done
But I'm sure I'll need something else
Because this season's hardly begun
