This is a poem I wrote on May 8, 2009. It's a poem where the speaker is telling another person that they are listening to them, even at times when it seems that they aren't.
When you ask me for help
When you ask for guidance
I want you to know that I hear you
When you say, "I love you"
When you say, "I miss you"
I want you to know that I hear you
Even when it may seem
That I'm not listening
I want you to know that I hear you
