This is a poem I wrote on November 22, 2010. I wrote this poem whole going through a snow and wind storm. Events that you go through can serve as a great inspiration for poetry, so it's really not that surprising that I wrote a poem about making it through a snow storm.
A chill wind blows outside
I stay warm by staying inside
I wish this weather would go away
And come back some other day
I'm tired of the snow
I wish that it would all just go
So I sit here, longing for the sun
And wish this weather was done
