This is a poem I wrote on February 9, 2009. It's a poem about the emptiness a person feels when someone they care about goes away.
Since you've been gone
I've had an emptiness in my heart
Is there anything I can do
To fill that hole
Or will the emptiness
Be in my heart forever?
