This is a poem I wrote on December 20, 2010. If you couldn't tell by the title and by the date that this poem was written, it's about the holiday season.
The holiday season is upon us again
A time to spend with family and friends
Now, if I can just slow down my busy days
And stop racking up debts that I will need to pay
I try to look past the stress and enjoy the time
And remind myself that things will be fine
Soon, the calendar will turn another year
And before we know it, Valentine's will be here
