Eyes

This is a poem I wrote on December 22, 2008. It's a poem where the speaker is talking about the eyes.


They say that the eyes are the window to the soul
And if you look into my eyes
You may see heartache, confusion, or pain
Or you may see happiness, excitement, or surprise
But when I look into your eyes
I can see into the soul of the one I love
