This is a poem I wrote on May 23, 2008. The speaker of this poem is describing what happened to them in a couple of their dreams.
In my dreams, I take a fall
For some reason, I was on a wall
I close my eyes and hope for the best
Then I wake up from a very fitful rest
In my dreams, I fly on wings
But then I find I'm attached to strings
If I'm not careful, the string will break
I wake up, and realize it all was fake
