This is a poem I wrote on July 26, 2010. It was written on a Monday, when I was lamenting on how busy that week was going to be and longing for the weekend to come around again.
It's Monday and another week has begun
But this day has not been any fun
I just wish the weekend would be near
So all the work and stress would disappear
The week's just started, but it's already rough
Saturday can't get here fast enough
I just need to make it, day by day
So when the weekend comes, I can go play
