This started out as lyrics I wrote with my sister in the mid-1980s. I wrote a poem using this title in the early 1990s; however, when I looked it over a few years back, I wasn't happy with how it had turned out. I wrote this version of the poem on June 22, 2009, and it's about living a busy and frantic life.
I've been kept so busy
That it's making me feel dizzy
Please, world, slow down
Before I fall to the ground
My blood's going to boil
All because of this turmoil
Please make it stop
Before the other shoe drops
I just need to feel well
Help me out of my private hell
Help me to rend
The turmoil from my head
