This started out as lyrics I wrote in the early 1990s. When I reread this a few years back, I wasn't happy with how it had turned out. I re-wrote it as a poem on July 6, 2009, and it's about not giving up on love.
When it seems you're down and out
And you've been rather unlucky in love
Just hold on, because someday
Love will find a way
Don't give up, keep the faith
Because someday, your luck's going to change
Then, you can smile and say
Love will find a way
