This is a poem I wrote on August 9, 2010. It's a poem about trying to stay positive and optimistic, even in the face of confusion.
Today, nothing is as it seems
It feels like a fuzzy and long-forgotten dream
No matter how hard I try, nothing makes any sense
And now it's starting to feel intense
But I won't let this get me down
I refuse to let it turn my smile to a frown
So I'll keep my head up and refuse to go down low
And I'll keep the faith and go with the flow
