This is a poem I wrote on November 1, 2010. In it, a speaker is encouraging someone who is going through hard times to try and believe that things will get better.
When the world is gray and so full of rain
And it seems all that's around you is pain
It can be hard to have any belief
That there will be any kind of relief
You need to hang on and wait for the sun
It's only then that healing is begun
Just try to believe and wait for the light
And someday, everything will be all right
