This is a poem I wrote on September 27, 2010. It's a poem about trying to encourage someone to not give up, no matter how bad things may seem.
Sometimes life may not seem to go your way
And you wish it would just become another day
You've just got to hang in there and remain strong
And to try to make it through when it all seems wrong
Don't give up, even in the face of strife
And see how much is worth living in your life
Someday, you'll find you'll be able to smile
But know that it'll probably take a while
