This is a poem I wrote on July 12, 2010, and it's about someone who is living in fear. I really don't remember what inspired me to write this one, but it turned out rather nicely, all things considered.
I feel my heart as it starts to race
I don't know how I'll get out of this place
All I know is that I want to be free
And to get away from this uncertainty
I know I want to escape from this fear
So I have to find a way out of here
Keep on moving, and try to find the light
In the hope that everything will be all right
