This is a poem I wrote on March 14, 2011. It's a poem about helping people who are in need, and I think I wrote this as a kind of "call to arms" to encourage others to give a helping hand. Just a little bit of help can do a lot of good.
We see upon our TV screen
That there's someone out there in need
Are we just going to let them be
Or are we going to turn away from our own greed?
There's so much that we all can do
Believe me, what I say is true
And don't you believe in those who
Will just say that we won't be able to see this through
